Rather than relying on a single cultivar, we blend select Uji-grown tea leaves to achieve greater balance, depth, and consistency.
This blend features cultivars such as Asahi (rich umami, dense body), Uji Hikari (vibrant color, refined sweetness), and a complementary third cultivar selected to round out the profile. Together, they create a matcha that is layered, creamy, and exceptionally smooth.
We partner with multi-generational tea farmers in Uji who use traditional shade-growing and careful cultivation to preserve both quality and heritage.
By combining these cultivars, we’re able to bring forward the best of each—resulting in a more complex, polished matcha with a consistent texture and finish.
