Our premium matcha kit is a traditional matcha set: 30 g of Tenchi Organic Ceremonial matcha, about 30 servings, with utensils from multigenerational Japanese producers. Choose a hand-glazed bowl (chawan) with an 80-prong bamboo whisk from Nara and its holder, or a tumbler with an electric frother, in a lighter or darker color.
It also includes a bamboo scoop, a stainless-steel sifter made in Japan, and a tea caddy: a lacquer caddy (natsume), or the larger copper caddy, which holds the most matcha. Each bowl and tumbler is hand-shaped and glazed, so no two are alike.

This set included the Tenchi ceremonial organic. It's earthy, smooth, subtle umami, not bitter at all in taste, and froths up nicely. I've shared this with several first time matcha try-ers at work, and some prefer it latte style though I definitely like mine straight (just hot water) mixed with the chasen (manual bamboo whisk) and the traditional chawan bowl than the electric frother blended in a taller cup/mug method I use at work. Only downside to this set is the natsume isn't airtight or tight fitting at all, which I should've looked into prior to purchasing. Besides that, I'm loving my set and matcha immensely and happy to support the local Japanese artesians for their experienced craftsmanship, artwork, and skills. It's their attention to the fine details that help make my matcha sipping so enjoyable.
