Strawberry “Starbucks® Style” Pink Drink | Calories & Recipe

This strawberry pink drink with matcha green tea—cold—will soothe the summer heat in no time! Plus, you can stay at home and quench your pink drink Starbucks® thirst with full control!

We’ve all heard of the so-called “secret menu” at Starbucks®. Fortunately, it’s easy to replicate those recipes yourself, especially the matcha drinks at Starbucks®. The best part is that you can tweak it however you like, and still come out with a healthier and waaayyy better drink! Follow below for an easy 5-minute recipe for your own Strawberry Matcha Pink Drink – it’s the best of both worlds, trust us.

It will only have as many calories as you add in fruit.

DIY Version: “Starbucks® Pink Drink” Sugar content?

It’s tough to order anything from Starbucks® without there being added-sugar. This is especially the case for the matcha at Starbucks®, which is usually pre-sweetened even before the liquid sugar additives.

Therefore, we decided to create our own Starbucks®-inspired Strawberry Matcha Pink Drink that only has natural sugar from the fresh strawberries, making it a healthy alternative that you can make from your own kitchen!

Some Tweaks To Note:

  • We understand that you might not have acai powder just lying around your house (if you do, that's great!). So, you can definitely make this without it, and you're still left with a flavorful and healthful beverage!

  • Using coconut milk will give you a creamier touch to this drink, while adding in coconut water will keep it on the more refreshing side. Both sound like great options, if you ask me!

Summary | Choosing your own Matcha rather than Starbucks®

The nice thing about this recipe is that the control is yours! You can easily double or triple (recipe above serves up to 2) the recipe, and you get to decide how to garnish it.

Unlike Starbucks®, you also get control over what matcha powder goes into your Matcha Pink Drink. That means you can select a Ceremonial Grade Matcha of your preference, or simply stick to a matcha suitable for cafe-style preparations.
