This gluten and dairy-free matcha mint sorbet is packed with flavor and makes for a delicious treat any day. Matcha mint sorbet is refreshing and restoring; we just can’t get enough. You’ll want to keep this on file for the warmer months, as we’re sure it will be your go-to dessert of the season. The best part is that it only requires a few ingredients and no fancy equipment. Just freeze, then blend, and you’re ready to go!
Our matcha mint sorbet is sweet and tart and tastes lovely with hints of matcha and mint. With gluten- and dairy-free, you can also serve this to a wide range of guests without worrying about sensitivities or allergies.
Because this recipe is so simple, let the delicious umami flavor of matcha shine with a higher-grade powder. While culinary grade matcha works well in most baking recipes, we’d recommend our daily ritual or ceremonial blend here. You can even get creative and try this mint sorbet with our vanilla or mango matcha powder for a unique taste! Sorbet is the perfect treat because it’s refreshing without being too much or too sweet. Churning ice cream adds air to the mix, which makes it soft and creamy. Comparatively, sorbet is made with less air and tends to be denser and richer in flavor, which we love! While we think this sorbet is delicious as is, you can try serving it along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a more decadent experience.
