Translated as "Jade Dew", Gyokuro is conventionally regarded as the highest grade of Japanese green tea.
Gyokuro is carefully shaded for 20 days before being hand-picked in Uji, Japan. Sophisticated growing techniques provide markedly increased levels of naturally occurring chlorophyll, L-theanine, and energizing qualities – not to mention a deep umami flavor and subtle sweetness.
