What’s chocolate matcha powder

What's chocolate matcha powder

We’ve used real chocolate essence combined with our ceremonial-grade matcha powder to create this chocolate matcha powder. There’s no sugar, fillers, or artificial flavors. When you first taste it, you’ll notice the rich, vibrant taste of high-quality matcha, and then the smooth cocoa notes kick in, giving you a balanced flavor that’s both energizing and indulgent. Vegan, gluten-free, and made with just two simple ingredients, it’s a delicious and fun way to enjoy matcha.

If you don’t have chocolate matcha powder on hand, don’t worry. Just add a teaspoon of cocoa powder instead.

Ingredients:

1 ½ tsp chocolate matcha powder

¼ cup hot water

½ cup milk

2 tsp maple syrup

Pumpkin Spice Foam:

½ tbsp pumpkin puree

3 tbsp heavy cream

2 tbsp milk

½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Maple syrup to taste

Directions:

  1. Sift matcha powder into a bowl. Add hot water and whisk until frothy. Set aside.

  2. Make the pumpkin spice foam. Froth together heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and a bit of maple syrup to taste.

  3. In a glass, combine ½ cup of milk with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Add ice.

  4. Pour the matcha over the milk mixture and top with the pumpkin spice foam. Dust with more pumpkin spice.

Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

  • If you don’t have a frother, a mason jar with a tight lid will work. Just pour the spiced foam into your jar and shake until the mixture is thick.

  • If you’re dairy-free, swap heavy cream and milk for coconut cream and oat milk for a creamy, vegan-friendly version.

  • To make it hot, skip the ice and warm the milk and cream before making.

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the foam or dust the top with cinnamon powder.
