How to make a matcha latte
Before we get into the list, let’s do a quick recap on basics and how to make the perfect iced matcha latte recipe.
First you’ll need to sift 2 teaspoons of high quality Japanese matcha powder from Matcha.com into a bowl. Slowly pour in hot (not boiling!) water into the bowl. Now you can vigorously mix the matcha mixture with a whisk in “M” or “W” motions, until it’s frothy and well-combined. Alternatively, you can also blend it with an electric frother.
In a separate glass, add in some ice and then pour in around 5 oz. of your non-dairy milk of choice. Now you can add in your matcha mixture. Give it a little swirl, and add in some simple syrup, to your taste. Et voila! Your perfect and classic iced matcha latte!
Starting with this is super simple and tastes great as it is, but sometimes we just want to create something even better. Onto the best of the best iced matcha lattes we go.
