  • 2 pounds strawberries
  • 11 oz high-quality white chocolate chips
  • 3 teaspoons Tenchi Ceremonial Matcha
  • optional: dark chocolate for drizzle

Directions for making chocolate matcha covered strawberries:

  1. Gently wash strawberries then pat VERY dry. Chocolate won’t adhere to wet strawberries!
  2. Add chocolate chips to a microwavable bowl then heat in 30 second intervals until fully melted and smooth. Remove and stir chocolate at each 30 second interval to prevent chocolate from burning. If you find that the chocolate is too thick, feel free to add a dash of milk.
  3. Add matcha to melted chocolate and stir until thoroughly combined.
  4. Like a sheet pan with parchment or wax paper.
  5. Hold each strawberry by the green stem and dip into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat it. Allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl,
  6. Place dipped strawberries on parchment paper and let dry. Repeat with the rest of the strawberries.
  7. Allow strawberries to set in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before enjoying.
